Mumbai| Fans are in for a treat this Diwali, as Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God is set to open in theaters. Ajay Devgn took to social media in January of last year to announce the film Thank God, a slice-of-life comedy.
This is Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn’s third film together, having previously worked together in De De Pyaar De and Runway 34.
Ajay Devgn shared the first look poster for Thank God on Instagram, along with the introduction of his character ‘Chitragupt.’ The poster depicts Ajay Devgn looking dapper in an all-black ensemble, and his new avatar has fans ecstatic! He is seen sitting on a massive golden throne, and the first look is quite intriguing! Ajay Devgn mentioned in his caption that the film’s trailer will be released tomorrow. He wrote to introduce his character, “This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! Thank God trailer out tomorrow.”
Rakul Preet Singh previously described Thank God as “Munna bhai meets Oh My God” in an interview with a leading portal. Thank God will be directed by Indra Kumar and will reportedly star Nora Fatehi. She will be seen dancing to Yohani’s viral song ‘Manike Mage Hithe.’
