Apart from her gorgeous looks, Aditi Rao Hydari has always managed to leave in indelible mark with her acting chops not only in Bollywood, but also down South.
Looking at her trajectory, she might have played meaty roles in some films, but she has managed to give her best.
She has worked with some of renowned filmmakers like Vikramaditya Motwane, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Imtiaz Ali, and Mani Ratnam among others. The actress has also time and again expressed her adulation towards ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam.
Talking about how she managed to juggle across different languages and how the experience of working with such stalwart filmmakers validates her craft.
Aditi shared, “I am a director’s actor, and I proudly assert that. I like to come on set, be a sponge and surrender to their vision. I got such a feeling for the first time on Mani Ratnam’s set. I felt like a kid in the playground, taking risks, being curious and I knew that I would be nurtured.”
She further said, “I have always wanted to work in various languages. I never looked at it as being a ‘Pan-India’ star. I observed it as cinema, story and feelings, which has no language. As a kid who has grown up in a multicultural environment, I am familiar with such experiences.
On the work front, Aditi will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi with Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, and others. She also has The actress will be seen in Gandhi Talks with Vijay Sethupathi.
