Inter School STEM Competition organised in Jaipur

Jaipur: Mayoor School Jaipur in collaboration with Mayo College General Council organised Inter School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Competition on May 11, 2023 for the first time in Jaipur. Students from 15 renowned schools of the city showcased their skills in this competition. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) challenges are a great way to promote STEM education in schools as they provide students with hands-on, experiential learning, providing an opportunity to explore STEM fields and develop critical thinking. Keeping in mind the challenges related to each component of STEM, the students were given a target to make a mobile stand holder using 3D pens. The meritorious students have made family phone stand, charging holder with magnetic attraction, document holder, pen holder, and other attractive and decorative phone holders. Teams were judged on their performance, creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Chairman Rajkumar Kandoi awarded the winning trophy and certificate to the team declared victorious and the runner-up teams were also honoured with certificate and prize. Sanskar School stood first, Mayoor School, Jaipur second and Jayshree Periwal International  School stood third in the competition. This first successful competitive program organized in the first academic session of Mayoor School Jaipur was appreciated by all the visiting schools.
