Group of Ministers finalizes roadmap for economy and employment

Team Absolute|Bhopal Commercial Tax, Finance, Planning, Economic and Statistics Minister Jagdish Devda said that local products will have to be promoted so that the state and country can become selfreliant in the economic sector. The final road map of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh has been prepared on the same lines.
Devda said that being the Chairman of the Group of Ministers on ‘Economy and Employment’ under “Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh”, the three-year roadmap has been finalized with the members of the committee as per the target and points of implementation. This will definitely increase the state’s GDP. To make the state’s economy self-reliant, discussions were held with over 150 experts through webinars. As many as 170 suggestions were received, which will give a new direction to the economy of the state. Along with these suggestions, the Group of Ministers held a detailed discussion on the suggestions received separately and took decision in the interest of the state. The roadmap for economy and employment will be handed over to the Chief Minister along with the recommendation of the Group of Ministers.
Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha also gave their final suggestions.
Devda and senior officials of the departments concerned were present in the video conference. Additional Chief Secretary and Nodal Officer Rajesh Rajoura informed about the final suggestions received by the Group of Ministers.
