Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now embracing their newfound parental status. Maltie Marie Jonas Chopra was born to the couple via surrogacy in January of this year. While the actress has been careful not to reveal the identity of her baby, she just shared a sweet family photo on her Instagram story with her husband Nick and daughter Malti Marie. A heart emoji covers the baby’s face, as expected. The family of three can be seen lounging inside a pool in the shot, which PeeCee shared.
On January 22, Priyanka and Nick announced the news on Instagram, along with a photo of their baby, who had spent 100 days in the NICU. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” at the time, the pair issued a joint Instagram message.
Meanwhile, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, hinted recently in an interview with a leading news portal that the couple will be sharing their baby’s face soon.
Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, Priyanka’s kid, is named after her mother, Madhumalti Chopra, or Madhu Chopra. In response, Madhu stated that it was a wonderful surprise and that she first found out about the name on the day of the Naam-Karan, and she felt honoured.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra’s next projects include the spy thriller series Citadel with Richard Madden, the romantic comedy It’s All Coming Back To Me with Sam Heughan, and the Bollywood feature Jee Le Zaraa starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
