Los Angeles: On Monday night, Adam Sandler and his glamorous wife Jackie looked happier than ever as they shared a kiss on the red carpet at the Gotham Awards in NYC.
The actor looked dapper in a sleek navy suit teamed with a baby blue shirt and slate grey tie as he posed for pictures with his better half. Jackie was effortlessly chic in a classic black midi dress, which she teamed with pointed stilettos. The actress styled her ombre tresses into gorgeous mermaid waves and opted for a burgundy manicure. Adam and Jackie have been married since 2003 and have two daughters together Sadie and Sunny.
The much-loved actor is currently recovering after undergoing hip surgery on Labor Day, September 5.
Earlier this month, Adam was seen walking without any aid for the first time after being seen with a cane on his recent outings. Back in September, his representatives confirmed that the surgery was not a result of a medical emergency or a sudden injury, but that it was planned to take place between projects.
The surgery was said to be a success, with Sandler reportedly looking forward to partaking in one of his favorite hobbies: pick-up games of basketball.
In June, Adam told of an injury he suffered on set while filming recent movie Hustle. In the film, Adam stars as a basketball scout who recruits a street player and use the opportunity to get back in the good graces of the NBA.
And while shooting, Adam played basketball with his NBA co-stars in between takes, with the actor going on to injure his groin.
He explained to the publication: ‘We had some of that going, but that’s before I popped my groin. There was one night my groin couldn’t take it anymore. It’s been a year already and I’m still limping around like a fool.’
