Jatin Pandit: Apart from soulful voice, Lataji had a great sense of humour

Mumbai, Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar left for heavenly abode on 6 February 2022, leaving a void in the music industry hat surely cannot be filled. Fondly known as the Nightingale of India, her songs never ceased to leave an indelible mark in every Indian’s mind.

To cherish her fond memories, India’s notable singers will come together to pay tribute to the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar via an exclusive series ‘Naam Reh Jaayega’.

Ahead of series, a virtual press conference was held. Notable singers like Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Sadhana Sargam, Javed Ali, Jatin Pandit, Nitin Mukesh, Aishwarya, Anwesha, Sneha pant were present at the conference. They spoke about how excited they are for the show, what will it be all about and reminisced fond memories with Lata Mangeshkar while they shot for the show.

While reminiscing good times with Lataji, Jatin Pandit revealed that she had a great sense of humour. He said, “ Lataji’s melodious voice, perfect diction and knowledge of low and high notes were commendable. Apart from being a fantastic singer, Lataji had a great sense of humour. Lataji will never be replaced.”
