Mumbai: After winning hearts with his music singles, Tiger Shroff has now made his singing debut in Bollywood with Heropanti 2 song titled ‘Miss Hairan’. The song has been composed by maestro A R Rahman and is sung by Tiger Shroff and Nisa Shetty.
During the song launch event in Mumbai, Tiger and Tara even indulged in a fun banter as Tiger touched Tara’s feet after she praised his voice. The two even performed the hook step of their song.
Tiger has been very vocal about his singing passion. Opening up about his interest in singing, Tiger said, “I have been a bathroom singer. So, during the lockdown I thought why not take it up seriously. Michael Jackson has been my idol. My goal is to perform on stage, sing and dance on my songs.”
“I took classes form Suzanne D’Mello over video calls. It all started after people cheered for me after I uploded a singing video on my social media. Otherwise, I never had the confidence to attempt something like this,”he added.
He shared his experience about recording the song with AR Rahman and was he pressurized. He also shared that his Dad is a fan of legendary singer Mohammed Rafi and even Tara reacted to hindi classics with him.
Tara spoke about working with Tiger as a singer in Heropanti 2 after sharing screen space with him in Student of the Year 2. Apart from Tiger and Tara, the movie will also feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the lead antagonist.
