Taapsee Pannu to don two different avatars in Dobaara

Mumbai: The trailer of Ektaa R Kapoor’s & Anurag Kashyap’s new-age thriller Dobaaraa was recently unveiled and it is creating buzz for all the right reasons. While Taapsee Pannu will be seen in a whole new avatar in the film, the audience will get to see her unfolding a quirky story taking ahead the suspense of the film in two different looks.

In Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing a character who is trapped in the world of many unfolded mysteries The audience will see her juggling around two different worlds.

The film will smartly capture the illusions of her presence in the past and the present in different looks without exploring the double-role personality. Where the film will have her struggle of finding the answers to the mysteries around her, it would be exciting to see how she makes both ends meet.

Interestingly, apart from Anurag Kashyap, Dobaaraa also marks Taapsee’s reunion with Pavel Gulati. To note, Taapsee and Pavel had earlier shared the screen in Anubhav Sinha’s 2020 release Thappad and their equation grabbed a lot of attention. The film is slated to release on 19th August 2022 at the cinemas near you.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee will be seen in her first production venture Blurr. The movie is the Bollywood remake of the Spanish film Julia’s Eyes and will also star Gulshan Devaiah in the lead. The actress will also be seen collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
