Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her comeback in the films after a hiatus of 14 years with film Nimamma. However, the film failed to entertain the audience and tanked at the box-office. Prior to this, the actress was seen in Hungama 2 which released on OTT.
The diva is now gearing up for Rohit shetty’s cop-drama Indian Police Force. The film featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi as well will boast of high-octane action sequences. Several BTS moments of the same are shared by filmmaker on his social media handle.
However, a source close to the development revealed that Shilpa Shetty shot for the action sequences on her own without any body double.
The source revealed, “Not many are aware that it was Shilpa and Rohit’s conscious decision that she will do all her stunts for the action drama by herself without the help of a body double. Since Shilpa is known to be one of the fittest female stars of Bollywood, she refused to take help of any body double”. For the unversed, the talented actress fractured her leg recently on the sets of the show. On the work front, she also has Sonal Joshi’s ‘Sukhee’ in the pipeline
