Like every other time, Bigg Boss 16 is garnering media attention much before its official premiere. Right from the names of the contestants who are rumoured to have been approached for Bigg Boss 16 to the premiere date and whatnot, a lot of buzz around the show is already created.
And now, there’s a fresh update about the same!
If recent reports are to be believed, host of the show, Salman Khan has reportedly hiked his fees for the new season of the controversial reality TV show. Rportedly, the host’s fees could increase by three times.
As per reports of a leading website, “Salman has asked for a three-time hiked fee considering that he hasn’t got a big hike in the past few seasons and this time he is adamant that until he doesn’t get a hike he won’t be hosting the show, though there is no confirmation on the same.”
If these rumours are accurate, Salman Khan might receive a total payment of 1050 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 16. His salary for hosting Bigg Boss 15 was approximately 350 crore.
Time and again, the actor has poked fun at makers for not paying him adequate amount. Salman Khan even admitted during one of the press conferences that every time he plans to leave, the producers manage to persuade him and he returns as the host.
Talking about contestants in Bigg Boss 16, the makers of the reality show have reportedly approached Arjun Bijlani, Divyanka Tripathi, Shivangi Joshi, Tina Dutta, Aarushi Dutta, Poonam Pandey, Shivam Sharma, Jay Dudhane, Munmun Dutta, Azma Fallah, Kat Christian, Jannat, Zubair, Faisal Shaikh, Kevin Almasifar, and Baseer Ali.
On the work front, Salman is gearing up for Bhaijaan alongside Pooja Hegde. He also has Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif in his kitty.
