Rashmika reacts on rumours of being banned, “So far, no producer has banned me”

Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who was most recently seen in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye, has finally replied to haters who have been bashing her for not watching Kantara. Rashmika attended an event in Hyderabad on Thursday and said that she had finally seen Kantara and complimented the filmmakers, weeks after she had stated that she had not seen the movie but hoped to soon. She continued by saying that she only has love for those who have cruelly teased her.

On November 9, Rashmika sent a message outlining the abuse she had been suffering from several people for a variety of reasons. She asked that everyone be kind.

Rashmika reacted on Thursday to the vitriol she has been receiving from trolls over the past few months. After the ceremony, she told reporters: “I just have love for them. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to say about it. It’s left to them.”

She was asked if she had watched Kantara, to which she replied: “I was asked if I watched the film 2-3 days after its release. I couldn’t back then. I’ve now watched it and also messaged the team. They also thanked me for the message. The world doesn’t know what’s happening on the inside. We can’t put a camera on our personal lives and show it.”

She continued by saying that, rather than what is said about her personal life, what is said about her work life is more important. She answered the reporter’s question about if any producers had banned her, “So far, no producer has banned me.”

Rashmika will shortly start production on the sequel to the Pushpa series. She will reconnect with Allu Arjun in the movie. The movie will premiere the next year. Pushpa: The Rule was formally introduced in August with a puja ceremony. The sequel will also be directed by Sukumar.
