Ranbir Kapoor reacts to trolls calling Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy announcement a promotional gimmick

After dating for five years, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on 14 April 2022. The couple is all set to embrace parenthood now. Alia Bhatt took to her social media handle and announced it a few days back.

Recently, During a media interaction, the ‘Rockstar’ actor was asked about his reaction to the trolling related to Alia’s pregnancy. Reacting to this he said, “Alia and I, as a married couple, thought that it would just seem right to tell the world because we felt it was the right time. We just wanted to share the joy and the news with the world and there was no other thought to it”.

The actor was further asked about his reaction to his wife Alia’s pregnancy. To which, he added, “It was something that Alia and I had been speaking about for a long time, that we want lots of children in our lives. We feel blessed and grateful. It’s a mix of a lot of emotions. I’m just extremely grateful at this point in our lives.”

On the work front, the actor is returning to the big screen after a hiatus of 4 years with Shamshera. The actor will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus Bhramastra. He also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor in the pipeline. On the other hand, RK will also be featuring with Rashmika Mandanna in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
