Mumbai| Ranbir Kapoor recently made a comeback on the silver screen after a hiatus of four years with Shamshera. Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film also starred Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. However, the film canned at the box-office.
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his magnum-opus Brahmastra. To promote the film, the actor and other cast members attended an event at Delhi.
During the press conference, Ranbir was quizzed about Shamshera’s poor box-office collection, to which he replied, “If Shamshera didn’t run at the box office it means the audience didn’t like the film. The film didn’t work because the content wasn’t good.”
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has Animal with Rashmika Mandanna and Luv Ranjan’s next yet-untitled alongside Shraddha Kapoor in his pipeline.
Talking about Brahmastra, the flick is all set to release on 9 September and stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
