Bengal| Troubles for PIL filed against Aamir Khan Starrer for disrupting the peace in Bengal starrer Laal Singh Chaddha don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. After performing miserably at the box office, the Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump has now invited legal troubles as well. A PIL (Public Interest Litigation) has been filed in the Kolkata High Court against Laal Singh Chaddha. The PIL calls for a complete ban on the film in Bengal citing the reason that the movie has disrupted the peace.

As per reports in a leading news portal, advocate Nazia Elahi Khan has filed the PIL in Kolkata High Court against Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha. The PIL demands a complete ban on the film in Bengal because the advocate feels that the Army is not represented properly in the film. She has also demanded that if the movie ban is not banned, police should be posted outside every theatre because what is shown in LSC can disturb the peace and order in Bengal.

Prior to this, The movie became the victim of the boycott culture on Twitter over statements made by lead stars Aamir and Kareena Kapoor in the past. The movie is the official Hindi adaptation of the 1994 film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks and also featured Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in the lead role.
