One of the most shocking events of this year was the passing of Sidhu Moose Wala. The Punjabi artist was murdered on May 29 by unknown assailants in the Mansa district of Punjab, and ever then, tributes to the late musician have flooded social media. Today, over a month after Sidhu Moose Wala’s passing, his brand-new song has been made publicly available. The song, titled “SYL,” is about the Satluj-Yamuna Link and marks Sidhu Moose Wala’s first release following his tragic passing.

It should be noted that Sidhu Moose Wala personally wrote, sang, and composed SYL. After being leaked and becoming viral on social media, the song was finally made available today. Fans have been moved to tears by the song ever since it was released as they remember the deceased singer for the gifted musician that he was. When SYL’s release was announced, one Instagram user commented, “Legend c legend rhu ga #sidhumossewala (He was a legend, he will remain a legend)”. Another user commented- “Legends never die” while fans showered immense love on the late singer.

A day after his security cover was reduced, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed. Lawrence Bishnoi is reportedly connected to the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, which the police are currently looking into. According to media sources, Goldy Brar, a Canadian-based mobster who had claimed responsibility for the murder of Moose Wala in a Facebook post, had been in touch with Bishnoi, according to Delhi police.
