Officials advise Salman Khan to avoid on-ground events amid death threats

Mumbai| As a result of the actor receiving an email threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, security has been stepped up around Salman Khan. A police jeep, two APIs, four constables, and four others have been stationed outside the home of the Bollywood celebrity. He also has a bulletproof car and Y security, aside from that. The actor reportedly isn’t in Mumbai right now, according to reports. A source close to the police claims that after the actor received the threat, things are quite serious surrounding his home.

As per sources quoted by a leading publication, “everyone in Salman Khan’s family and his team are serious and very concerned about his safety. These new threats have shaken things up, but they also know that the police has responded well and is making sure that the security arrangements are appropriate.”

They continued, “His team has been told to avoid any on-ground events for the next few days. He also has a movie (Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan) release coming up and they will have to plan any promotional activities accordingly.” The actor is not in Mumbai, according to the publication, and it is unknown when he will return.

Meanwhile, gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Brar have been reported for sending threatening emails to Salman Khan. Following the receipt of a threat via mail, a FIR was filed at the Bandra Police Station under IPC sections 506 (2), 120 (B), and 34.
