Bhopal| Actress Kangana Ranaut has shared yet another poster revealing look of a prominent character from her upcoming film Emergency. The character is Mahima Chaudhry as Pupul Jayakar.
Talking about her character, Kangana wrote, “Presenting @mahimachaudhry1 as the One who witnessed it all, and wrote for the world to see the Iron Lady up, close and personal. #PupulJayakar Friend, Author & Confidante”
‘Emergency’ features Kangana in the role of former prime minister Indira Gandhi, while Anupam Kher will be seen as the revolutionary leader J P Narayan, and Shreyas Talpade essays the role of late politician Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Kangana is not just directing this film but is also producing the venture with Renu Pitti. The screenplay and dialogues of ‘Emergency’ are penned by Ritesh Shah. Previously, Kangana Ranaut had clarified that ‘Emergency’ is not a biopic but a political drama.
