Tiger Shroff last release Heropanti 2 bombed at the box-office. It starred Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui alongside him. Due to the debacle of the film, the makers of his upcoming films- Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are now sceptical about the film and put it on backburner.
If reports are to be believed, the reason for the same are cited to be high budget, unpredictable box office scenario, and average response to the announcement video.
Confirming the same, a source spoke to the news portal and revealed, “The makers of Screw Dheela wanted to sign Tiger for multiple months but he had already committed to other projects. One such project is the Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan remake with Akshay Kumar. That film is slated to start in the first quarter of 2023 and that’s why the Screw Dheela shoot would not work out.”
Reportedly, Screw Dheela’s production schedule needs to be totally reworked for 2023 and the team is trying to figure out new dates. In the mean time, Tiger will prepare for the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar. That film is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
