I always try to keep the doors of creativity open from all sides: Rajpal Yadav

By Dinesh Zala Mumbai

Renowned actor Rajpal Yadav, who has been seen in a bang roles in films like ‘Hungama’, ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Hara Pheri’, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, is going to complete twenty-five years in the Bollywood film industry. And these days, there are a lot of headlines about his film ARDH. Apart from this, he was seen in Bhool-Bhulaiya 2, when we had a conversation with Rajpal Yadav during the interview, he spoke openly about many interesting things:-

Ardh is the story of a struggling artist, which part of the film matches your real life?
The speech in the climax of the film matches my opinion, and there are two human beings in every man, one only you know how you are inside, every man lives two characters, no matter from which department Why not, and if I had not been Rajpal, it would have been Shiva, who is the character of this film. And in this, every scene, every movement, is close to me, and I consider every movement in them as my own, because I do not want to keep myself outside that movement.

How different was the experience of playing the same character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 after fifteen years from the first film?
The foundation was the same, the building was fifteen years old, so the building was removed and a new building was placed, but the foundation was the same, for that, I congratulate director Anees Bhai, and got a chance to go from red to white in this film. And this film was very much liked by the audience, and I also got the privilege of being a part of this film.

You are going to complete twenty-five years in the film industry, what are the memories related to films that you would like to remember for a long time?
In these twenty-five years, I only found that what I have done in twenty-five years is not to be carried forward, what can I do in the next twenty-five years. Every day is new, and every day is Learning Day. But twenty-five years gave me the confidence that the way we were fighting, if I get a chance to field in every corner of the film industry, I will field, if I get a chance to betting, I will betting. But what I’ve learned in twenty-five years in the film industry Whatever those next twenty-five years, with the blessings of you people, I will try that he old data must be there, but nothing should be repeated.

You have done more than two hundred films, and people still remember the characters of your old films. How much has your choice towards today’s films changed?
Nothing happens in the case of a choice actor. An actor should always keep the doors of his heart open. If I had been on choice, I might not have been part of the Ardh, I always try to keep the doors of creativity open from all sides. Let me improvise something that we have not done before, and some person may come with such a subject which we have never done in the past. And the choice is not of the actors, for that it depends on the director, producer, and the audience as well, but I am fortunate in this case that I have played different characters.

During your film career, you have faced many ups and downs, many films became blockbusters and many films did not do well at the box office, but which film has given you the most recognition?
The jungle was one such film which started with a negative role, and ‘Madhuri Dixit banna chahti ho’ I want to thank Ramuji, who did such a film, at that time it was commercial cinema, or it was art cinema, which was Shyam Benegal ji and Yash Chopra Sahab had a similar commercial film foundation, ‘Madhuri Dixit banna chahti hoon’ on the other hand ‘Jungle’ got an opportunity to establish himself as an actor. After that came another film ‘Hungama’ which contributed a lot to its popularity. So it can be said that these two or three films were such, in which lead, supporting lead, and negative roles were there, so as the film says, every actor dreams of becoming a three diamond actor, his foundation was laid.
