The film showcases a very beautiful relationship between Tanaji and his wife Savitribai. Savitribai is known to be the biggest support of Tanaji and the one who stood by him always.

Talking about why every woman can relate to Savitribai, Kajol shares, “I was drawn to what Savitribai portrayed as an individual. She was strong, stood her ground, and would always give her opinion without fear. Even when it came to her husband, she was always open about her thoughts. I think these are attributes of a strong woman which each of us have and stands by.”
