Mumbai: The trailer of actor Ranveer Singh’s upcoming much-awaited film Jayeshbhai Jordaarwas unveiled today. At the trailer launch event, just like always, Ranveer was high on energy and made a dhamakedaar entry in a quirky attire.
Along with Ranveer, the entire team was also present at the trailer launch event.
Ranveer was seen performing the hookstep with producer Maneesh Sharma, director Divyang Thakker his co-star Shalini Pandey at the event. Ranveer shared that he wept and laughed at the same time after he heard the narration of the film.
He also enacted how director Divyang was meticulous towards his job.
He was also seen poking fun at his co-star Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey. While Shalini also revealed that she had fun working with Ranveer Singh even though he troubled her on sets(chuckles).
Taking about her journey, Shalini opened up about her parents being apprehensive of her entering the acting profession because of which she ran away from home.
Talking about the film, it deals with the social stigma of female foeticide in a quirky manner.
At the trailer launch, when Ranveer was asked whether he wants a baby boy or a girl with his wife Deepika Padukone, the actor used a dialogue from the film, and said, “When you go to the temple, they don’t ask you na if you want laadu or sheera. Whatever you get, you have it with whole reverence since it is prasad. So the same logic applies here. Whatever God wishes to bless Deepika and me with – be it a boy or girl, it will be a true blessing. So no choice there.”
On the work front, Ranveer will be seen next in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
