Mumbai| Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great zeal and zest in Mumbai. For the special occasion, several Bollywood celebrities either get the Ganesha idol at their place, while some are spotted visiting their near and dear ones. On Wednesday, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family welcomed Lord Ganesha at their residence. They kept the idol of Ganpati Bappa in their house for a day and a half. Yesterday evening, the Visarjan took place.
To mark the visarjan with great pomp and show, the Ambanis held a grand ceremony while taking the deity for visarjan.
The celebrations turned out to be quite special after Bollywood’s adorable couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted accompanying them. The couple was spotted dressed in traditional outfits. Several pictures and videos from the lively procession carrying the deity for visarjan have gone viral on social media showing the excited couple taking active participation.
On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer have interesting projects in their pipeline. While Ranveer is gearing up for Cirkus and Rocky air Rani ki Prem kahani, Deepika has films like Fighter with Hrithik Roshan along with Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. She also has Project K with Prabhas and the Hindi remake of The Intern alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
