‘Audience’s Love Is The Biggest Brahmastra’: Ranbir on overwhelming response of latest release

Mumbai| Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra released in theatres on 9th September. While the film has received mixed reviews, the film has managed to rake in 160 crores global box-office collection.

Ranbir Kapoor visited a Mumbai theatre on Sunday night to meet with fans and express his gratitude for their support of his movie. Ayan Mukerji, the director of Brahmastra, also accompanied him.

At the theatre, Ranbir engaged with people and took photographs with them while at the theatre. He also spoke about Brahmastra’s success and said, “Audience ka jo pyaar mila hai… uss se bada koi Brahmastra nahi hai. We are extremely happy, and proud of this boy, man, for his dedication, mehnat… maine life mein kabhi dekha nahi aisa dekha nahi hai.” (Audience’s love is our Brahmastra. I am extremely happy, proud of this boy/man standing right here).

The actor further added, “Thank you. You guys are getting entertained, having a great time at the cinemas. This is what it is all about. Coming back to cinemas, seeing emotions, getting entertained, laughing, clapping, this is what cinema is all about. I am just happy to be back at the cinemas.”

Talking about Brahmastra, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles with Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna Akkineni’s extended cameos.
