Amitabh Bachchan takes a trip down the memory lane and recalls having five blockbusters in one year

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is an avid social media. The veteran actor often shares endearing posts either giving a glimpse of his day or recalling fond memories from the past.

In his recent post, the actor shared a picture of the public standing in queue for advance booking of his iconic film DON. He also got nostalgic remembering his five blockbuster releases running in theatres for more than 50 weeks.

His post read, “Advance booking of my film DON ..!
And they said. THEY…. that the queues were a mile long
. released in 1978 .. 44 years !!
AND these also released same year:
DON, Kasme Vaade, Trishul, Mugaddar Ka Sikandar, Ganga
Ki Saugandh …. 5 Blockbusters in one year !! some of them ran more than 50 weeks…
Kya din the wo bhi!!”

On the professional front, the actor was recently seen in Runway 34 which starred Ajay Devgn as well. Apart from this, he is gearing up for the release of magnum opus Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. He is also all set to share screen space with Deepika Padukone yet again via Project K.
