Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, who has had a smashing year in the cinema and a fairy tale 2022 in her personal life, says motherhood has changed her drastically. The star, who married Ranbir Kapoor in April and delivered her first child in November, says it’s too early to tell if her film choices will alter, but she’s excited to see how her life changes “journey pans out.”

Alia revealed openly about parenthood in an interview with a leading portal, saying, “Motherhood has changed me so much in the span of — I mean, it’s, as I give this interview, it’s barely been a month, just over three weeks, but I don’t know about how it’s going to change the way I pick my roles yet because I haven’t gotten to thinking about that.”

“But it’s changed the way I look at everything. I just think my heart is a little bit more open than it was before, I don’t know what change that is going to bring about. But we’ll see. I’m excited to see how that journey pans out,” she added.

In 2022, Alia will appear in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva opposite Ranbir, the OTT release Darlings, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is currently in Oscar and BAFTA campaigns.

The actor stated that working with Bhansali has been her goal since she was a child. She first met the director when she was nine years old when she auditioned for his renowned film Black.

Alia will soon be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and in Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot’s OTT drama Heart of Stone, both of which she shot while pregnant with Raha.
