Akshay Kumar took his on-screen sisters for shopping in the city of Nawabs

Mumbai: Raksha Bandhan’s release date is approaching, and Akshay Kumar is busy promoting the film. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai, also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and Smrithi Srikanth and is about the unconditional relationship between a brother and his sisters. Meanwhile, while the Khiladi came in Lucknow for promotions on Monday, he brought his on-screen sisters shopping in the city of Nawabs. The film will be released in theatres on August 11th.

Akshay took to Instagram and posted a video with the caption, “Aaj le aaya apni behno ko nawaabon ke sheher, Lucknow shopping kara ne, lage haath apni bhi thodi shopping kar li 🙂 #RakshaBandhan11August.”In the video, Akshay and his on-screen sisters are seen shopping for Chikankari kurtas in a store. Akshay can be seen arguing with his girlfriend (Bhumi Pednekar) over his sisters in the Raksha Bandhan teaser. He wants to marry his four sisters first, and then marry the love of his life. However, given the circumstances, Akshay is in a terrible scenario in which he may lose his sweetheart for good.

After Bachchhan Paandey and Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan is Akshay’s third release of the year. It is set to collide with Aamir Khan’s highly awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya.
After this Akshay will be next seen in movies like Ram Setu, OMG 2, Mission Cindrella, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Gorkha, etc.
