Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan, who celebrateed his birthday on Tuesday, has announced that the fourth chapter of his successful Krrish franchise is in the works and would begin production after ‘one small technicality’ is resolved.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor stated that the project would begin filming by the end of the year. He stated, “I think, we should all get together and send out a little prayer. Everything is set (about Krrish 4) but we are stuck on one little technicality. Hopefully, we will overcome that by year’s end. Krrish 4 is definitely in the pipeline and it will happen real soon”.
The film is the fourth instalment in the series, which began with Koi…Mil Gaya in 2003. Krrish 2 was released in 2006, followed by Krrish 3 in 2013. The actor, who was most recently seen in Vikram Vedha, is also rumoured to be in War 2, the sequel to the 2019 film War, which co-starred Tiger Shroff. The actor has been tight-lipped regarding the project, claiming that all formal announcements would be made by producer Aditya Chopra.
