Kamal Chawla, World No 3 Snooker player from Bhopal has qualified for the Asian 6 Red Snooker championship by winning all the matches in the India Camp held at Bangalore. He defeated Pankaj Advani who is one of the world's greatest players. The Asian 6 Red Snooker Championship will be played in Kyrgyzstan from May 12 to 19. It is notable that in 2010, Kamal took part in the first Asian 6 Red Snooker Championship and brought the first medal (Bronze) for the country. Kamal won all his four bouts in the camp and secured first position. Kamal Chawla beats Pankaj Advani by 5-3 and in his other matches he beats Pushpendra Singh by 5-2, Faisal Khan by 5-3 and Sandeep Gulati by 5-3 to qualify for the Asian 6 Red Snooker Championship.
