There will be no shortage of funds for development: CM

Team Absolute|Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave several gifts for development to Bhander in Datia district. Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomi pujan of 179 construction and development works worth Rs 134 crore 29 lakhs. He also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes of the government. Chouhan said that there will be no shortage of funds for the development of the region. The schemes which were discontinued in the state will be reintroduced in public interest. The foundation laying and dedication programme was organized at Krishi Upaj Mandi premises in Bhander, Datia district on Sunday. Chouhan said that due consideration will also be given to the respect of people along with development in Bhander region. The development works which have not been completed in the area, will be completed on priority basis. Chief Minister said that the schemes launched in my previous tenure for the poor, farmers, students and senior citizens of the state were discontinued for 15 months in between. All such schemes will be resumed in the interest of the proletariat. Sambal Yojana has been revived in the state. Chouhan said that there is no need for children of poor families to worry about higher studies. Their fees for medical, engineering, IIT etc. will be paid by the state government. Poor students should not worry about fees, they should just engage in studies. He informed that recruitments will be made soon in various posts in the state. Chouhan said that no poor will sleep hungry in the state. Anna Utsav (food festival) will be celebrated all over the state on September 16 in which 37 lakh poor people of the state who did not get ration earlier, will be given free ration along with eligibility slips.. Under this scheme, 12 thousand families of Bhander region will be benefited. Chouhan said that on September 18, an amount of Rs 4600 crores of crop insurance will be deposited in the account of 20 lakh farmers. Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the line which has been drawn for development of Bhander region will be increased further. He said that the Scindia family has family relations with Bhandar region, not political relations. He said that during a meeting last month, Chouhan had issued instructions that individuals who are engaged in mining and paying royalty to the government will be given protection.
