STATE GOVERNMENT STANDS WITH STUDENTS AT EVERY STEP: CM

Team Absolute|Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that students of the state should do everything possible to progress in life. The state government stands with you at every step. Rs 40 crore 52 lakh was transferred by single click to the accounts of 16 thousand 208 students in ratio of Rs 25 thousand per student for purchase of laptops under the Pratibhashali Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana. An amount of Rs 101 crore is to be provided to 40 thousand 542 students under the scheme this year. Chouhan said that this scheme was discontinued. The scheme which encourages students and creates competitive spirit is being re-launched today on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birthday. This incentive is being given to students through a virtual progarmme due to Covid-19. Otherwise, I would have been delighted on meeting my nephews and nieces in person. Chouhan said that students should take inspiration from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He lived in difficult circumstances but never gave up. He formed an organization on the basis of his talent and gave a new concept to the world. Chouhan said that the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also inspiring for the students. Appreciating Modi, a man who survived difficult circumstances, for his organizational skills, Chouhan said that a new, glorious, magnificent, prosperous, flourishing and powerful India is emerging under Modi’s leadership. The young generation should move ahead in the fields of their interest and nature with self-respect and self-esteem. Chouhan said that if a person develops a roadmap and constantly strives with determination to achieve whatever goal he/she sets, he/she is sure to be successful. Chouhan said that I have to build an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Modi. For this it is necessary to build your life. Chouhan called upon the students to move ahead with courage and enthusiasm maintaining independent thinking, alert mind, egolessness and patience. He said that the mantra of “Man ke hare haar hai man ke jeete jeet”- should always be followed. Chouhan symbolically presented citations and cheques to six students of Bhopal namely Rajneesh Singrole, Sumit Shukla, Anchal Jain, Anjali Mishra, Ilma Khan and Shailya Singh at Minto Hall. It may be noted that the Pratibhashali Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana was started in 2009. Initially, students of government schools, scoring more than 85 percent marks in Class XII examinations of the Board of Secondary Education were provided funds to purchase laptops. Students of private schools also started being given the benefits of this scheme from the year 2013. This time, 40 thousand 542 students, who have secured 80 percent and above marks in Class XII examinations of the year 2020, are being given more than Rs 101 crore in ratio of Rs 25 thousand per student. Apart from the state-level programme organized in Bhopal, citations and cheques were given to students at the district level also. While the programme was available on Webcast, YouTube, Facebook it was also telecast on Doordarshan and other major channels.
