Continue awareness campaign for protection from corona: CM

Team Absolute|Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sought information about the status of Covid-19 in Madhya Pradesh before the Cabinet meeting. He said that patients from other places are visiting Bhopal and other big cities for treatment. These patients can get their treatment done at the district level only. Treatment is available in each and every district. Chouhan directed that the bed capacity should also be increased in view of the numbers of present cases. Along with this, control command centres should be activated in every district, doctors will also be made available in these centres for counselling, he added. Chouhan directed to ensure that there should be no shortage of oxygen in any hospital. He instructed to ensure the oxygen being used in the industrial sector in the state on priority, if needed. Chouhan said that the compulsory use of masks by the general public should also be ensured. Campaigns should be continued for this as well. He further said that urban administration and Panchayat and Rural Development Department should do publicity work. Increase awareness efforts. Transport Department is required to ensure use of masks compulsorily by passengers in buses, he directed. Chouhan said that markets are now opening after unlocking and at the same time, the challenge is also increasing. Therefore constant precautions should be taken.Chouhan said that a lot of patients come from the districts to 4 major cities Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur. This situation is not very ideal at all, as citizens can get treatment in other districts as well, but concrete arrangements should also be made there. Arrangement of more beds should also be made in these hospitals in proportion to their requirement.
