MUMBAI : AXIS Hospital, Mumbai a leading multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai suburban area has established partnerships with key hotel chains to provide Covid care to Asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients amid rising Covid cases.
Dr. Umesh Shetty, Director, AXIS Multispeciality Hospital Mumbai explained, “While we are situated in Andheri Lokhandwala, we experience the patient load coming from Juhu to Borivali. We have ramped up our capacity in the recent days due to a sudden rise in patient load by tying up with Hotel Svenska and Hotel Al Mina, where Asymptomatic patients can be quarantined and attended to incase of escalation of symptoms.
Hotel Svenska and Hotel Al Mina, being in a close proximity of the Hospital, will allow easier access of the Doctors by the quarantined asymptomatic patients.
AXIS Hospital will provide Doctors visit and consultation both in online and offline format to ensure patient is followed up well. Besides, the Hospital will also provide services of trained physiotherapists at these hotels turned quarantined centres. Apart from this a proper diet will be designed and delivered for quarantined patients and their vital parameters like SpO2, Pulse Rate, Blood Pressure etc.,will be regularly monitored in these packages, explains Dr. Shetty.
There are various quarantine packages are available including 5, 7, or 10 days, and a patient can also choose customised packages depending upon the stage of treatment.
In the wake of sudden rise of Covid, there is a lot of emotional turbulence. Trained physiotherapists, guiding the quarantined patients with yoga, physical exercises and emotional well-being issues is another step being taken through these tie ups.
