The ongoing pandemic has called for various people to step up and help out others. One such person who decided to come forth and help is Jacqueline Fernandez who has now been thanked by the Pune Police.
“Pune Police thanks @Asli_Jacqueline for her generous contribution towards the Pune Police Foundation. Your kind gesture will go a long way for our team that continues to perform their duties on the frontline in this pandemic.
Jacqueline took to her social media handle to write a message to the hardworking Pune Police force. Her post read,
“I salute @PuneCityPolice who have been tirelessly working on the frontline and contributing selflessly in our fight with Covid 19. We are in this together
Jacqueline also recently launched her foundation named, You Only Live Once (YOLO) which paired up with many NGOs to help out people in need. The organization has undertaken the responsibility of feeding 1 lakh meals, feeding the strays and to donate masks and sanitizers to the Mumbai Police.
Jacqueline feels that it is her way of paying back to the society and she has always been ready to come forth and help people in need. Even last year she came forward and joined hands with ‘Action Against Hunger Foundation’ to nurture the villagers of Patharadi and Sakur villages in Maharashtra.
