Amber Heard poses on a boat in Turkey

She’s been enjoying far-off travels after facing her ex-husband in a bitter lawsuit last month.

Los Angeles: Amber Heard posed in a plunging black dress while drinking red wine on a boat in Turkey, for her latest Instagram snap. The Aquaman star shared the sunset shot to the photo-sharing site on Thursday, as she ended her time in the country.

Amber smiled subtly as she lounged barefoot on the boat, with a red scarf wrapped around her head.

The movie star captioned the photograph: ‘So hard to say goodbye…. I love Turkey so much,’ as her holiday came to an end. Earlier this week, the actress looked carefree and pretty in a new swimsuit selfie on Instagram on Friday, in front of a lovely waterfront scene with books on her lap.

Amber wore a sleek and classic black one-piece in the picture, and a white windbreaker which hangs off her shoulders.  ‘SPF1000 + beautiful + ADD – emergency that must be dealt with IMMEDIATELY = beach-bag library,’ the Machete Kills actress wrote in the caption.

It wasn’t clear to what ’emergency’ Amber was referring, nor were the titles of the pile of books she held, but an electronic device resembling a tablet was visible.

The post comes after other vacation selfies on Heard’s account, as the star travelled around Turkey.

One recent share on Instagram in particular drew flack on social media, when Amber appeared braless in a shot showing her neck and hair while wearing a hijab in Istanbul. The actress’ trip came after she testified last month in the United Kingdom in the high-profile lawsuit brought against her by ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The couple were married from 2015 until 2017, after they met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2009. Depp charged Heard with libel after accusations were leveled against him of being a ‘wife beater’ among other things.

The weeks-long trial saw multiple shocking claims brought from both sides, with the headline-making proceedings coming to an end in July.

A verdict on the trial is not expected to be announced until early September.
