Wipro wins five-year contract from Fortum

New Delhi : Wipro Ltd. Has received a five-year contract for application management (AMS) and service integration and management (SIM) from Fortum. The Finland-headquartered Fortum is among the world’s leading clean energy companies. Wipro said in a statement on Tuesday that it would manage Fortum’s application portfolio for 11,500 users in 18 countries under a five-year contract. In addition, it will provide round the clock support for business-critical apps.

The information technology major said it will improve the experience for end users with process automation through its artificial intelligence (AI) and automation platform ‘Wipro Holmes’. The financial side of this agreement has not been disclosed.”We have chosen Wipro as our partner given the experience and ability to provide flexible and efficient solutions,” said Tuomas Salosari, Vice President (Operations, Services, Business Technology), Fortum.
